Fire Hawk Drones provides commercial drone pilot services across the Canberra region, Southern Tablelands, and South Coast, specialising in inspection, survey, and mapping.
Jobs further afield can also be arranged.
Infrastructure, asset, and facility inspection using drone-mounted visual and thermal sensors. Covers turbine blades, solar arrays, transmission lines, buildings, and perimeters, without the cost or risk of rope access or scaffolding.
Land, site, and area survey with centimetre-level RTK accuracy. Covers construction progress monitoring, site boundaries, stockpile volumes, and terrain modelling for planning and compliance.
Aerial mapping, orthomosaics, digital surface models, and 3D reconstruction. Outputs integrate directly into GIS and asset management workflows, suited to large sites and rehabilitation projects.
We work directly with organisations in energy, utilities, mining, critical infrastructure, construction, agriculture, environment, and emergency services. These are sectors where inspection, survey, and mapping decisions carry real operational and safety consequences.
For emergency services clients, this extends to time-critical applications such as search and rescue support, incident mapping, and rapid situational awareness during an active response.
Fire Hawk Drones is led by David Hopkins, a licensed remote pilot with a background in intelligence and aerial intelligence gathering. Flights are planned and flown with the same decision-focused approach used across Fire Hawk Services, so every deliverable is built directly around your question and ready to use in your decision-making process.
